Why would anyone actually paying for something like this is my question. We've all already heard, and our portfolios have collapsed with all the others together. Why is this author received a major step forward when you see the rest of the world, their investments will fall apart? It's just not fair!

Boring and conservative, was too generous in my opinion. Is this the kind of book for you, then save your money, give it to a fund manager and go watch it grow some grass. However, it is safe and conservative, but you will not beat it to market. If you desire to do it yourself, you start with Willian J ONeal or interviews with top traders received series.

I agree with other reviewers that this book is an excellent essay for those who learn how to want to choose shares with a value portfolio. Where we differ is that for the typical investor he does not have the resources to run a properly diversified portfolio, financial and psychological resources. Value stocks offer yields of more than broad market there, but an adequate diversification you need to assemble several hundred issues well beyond the resources of the average investor. Further one must consider the time and the ability to thousands of questions. Imagine winning the following in the light of prevailing market conditions, competitive advantage over investors ptofessional: Piscaqua Research in a study for the period 1987/96 to ensure that only 10 of 145 major pension funds, or just seven percent, out performed a portfolio consisting of a simple 60% / 40% mixture of the S & P 500 Index and the Lehman Bond index respectively. Or is it logical that I ask you to believe that we predict which actively managed fund will run out, or are you overconfident of your abilities can? If you try, the big fund managers who wonder in the future you are: Do you see that what I should do differently in the calculation of future profit-fund manager, when the pension plans and their advisers? And if you are not something else that the logic of it into a game at which others with superior resources have consistently failed? If you have a really serious in finding an investment technique that provides you with reasonable return with less risk I suggest the following book is available. This is a small book I wrote, and contains the key, how to invest. Just click on the title to find the book. ht of the current markets. Is it possible for the average investor to beat the market? I can offer a solution for this problem. I would like to recommend a book called How to Make Money in the Stock Market-Buy 2,500 different stock for $ 1000 – you pay no commissions, this book is a must for all those who are about indexing (passive investment) and why (it's the superior method for the small investor and also a large). This book is an excellent guide to investing personal. It will be useful to all investors, from beginners to the experienced very high. This book prepares the reader to approach investing from the perspective of the underlying science. It is the opposite of a "get rich quick scheme '. Invest all aspects of modern portfolio theory and passive (index) and explained by a simple language. The aspect I like most is that as well as a solid theoretical foundation of the book is very practical and shows the reader how you (and more importantly) and manage over time a successful portfolio. This is a great book for the beginning investor, it is a great place to start and for the experienced investor there are many valuable suggestions.
